Laptop web cam

When my laptop was bought it had vista installed,up graded to windows 7 and managed to get my sonyvaio CAPTURE EYE Camera to work however after upgrade to Windows 8 I can't get the web Cam to work Sony say my model is not windows 8 supported . My model is VGN-FZ38M. Any help Please lwhitti

If the maker state it will not work they are probably correct. You can look on MS site to check. If you have a genuine full win 8 OS why not use dual boot with your old win7?
