Windows 8 and Office 2013

I have installed office 2013 Premium and find it an absolute maze of information which is no use to me. Can anyone give any information on using Open Office, and whether I would have to uninstall Office 2013. Regards Carper

You can download the latest version of OpenOffice foe windows 8 from here User guides are available from here

Open Office and Office 2013 will run side by side so you don't need to uninstall it but you need to make sure that in Control Panel you set the file associations correctly so that Open Office is the default for opening the various office modules.
