Canon Pixma iP 4500 drivers

Would appreciate any help , re my Canon on Windows 8.. On my Dell Tower , I run both Win8 and Win7.. On W7 the printer is fine , (32 bit) but because Win8 is running 64bit there is of course a problem .. Point is, 'Would it be best to change Win7 to 64bit , dowmload the appropriate drivers, so that both are compatible?? Suggestion please.!! many thanks
