symbol in password boxes for all sites

I have started with the first character of my password on all sites and on the right hand side of the boxes a sybol has appeared which looks like an eye - eg a semicircle surrounding a dot. In music this is used for a pause and is called a 'pig eye'! I am a silver surfer and not very clever with the computer - and am concerned as to what it might be and how I can get rid of it. Please can anyone help? Many thanks Kiri

I can't say what the cause is - but have you thought of changing your password, just to be on the safe side?

I think this will answer better ...

Just had a look on Google for the problem, actually not a problem!
