facebook compromised with system crash pop up

Hi,my wifes facebook page was hacked and we eventually got it back by trial and error,emailing facebook and changing passwords for gmail,now she keeps getting this pop up box saying your system is about to crash click ok to fix it,it is blocking out all her competitions and links she uses. .i know it is some sort of spam box,can anyone tell me how to fix this and get rid of it,i hope i am posting in the right forum,if not please link me to the right forum for help please thanks patso

just an update, the facebook page is working on ie 8 so it seems to be a chrome problem that is only recent.i have the pop up blocker enabled but its not working as the pop ups are still appearing over the right hand side. do i need to reinstall chrome to sort this out? thanks again

I think that you may need to check for malware and viruses.
