WiFi modem to laptop to TV wirelessly

Hi to all of you, please tell me what do I need to download tv programmes through my wi fi modem to my laptop(sony) and wirelessly to my Sony vaio tv?All help gratefully appreciated. Regards Mike

Probably a lot easier to get a USB TV tuner / pvr like this:

TV tuner

There are cheaper ones and they work with their owm little aerial, but better plugged in to an external aerial. You can save the programmes, or burn to disc. Depending on Operating System you may have a Microsoft Media Centre capability - See

Don't see why you would need a TV dongle in a laptop to stream TV to a TV. Why not just turn on the TV on.
