Having problems with computer. Tried sstem rstore yesterday but was no help.

Today startup repair is saying if we have added a camera or portsble device remove it and restart.

We have not done this and so cannot see why it says this.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Have you tried doing a system restore with your anti-virus turned off?

I meant also to say have you tried the system restore in safe mode? To get to this tap the F8 key as your PC is booting and before the windows screen appears.

Try getting into safe mode again and if it doesn't let you switch off your pc without shutting it down. Restart it and it should start off in safe mode. If this is successful go into Advanced Options and the system restore option should be there.

Can you actually use your computer or is Startup repair stopping you.

Have you tried removing anything plugged in to your USB ports.

You would probably get a lot more help if you posted this in the Helproom so maybe close this one and add a new one in the Helproom.
