I cloned my existing HD to a new larger HD. using EaseUS Todo Back up. I swaped the HD cables on the motherboard so the new HD was in the 1st and the old HD was in the 2nd socked of the MB. when I booted PC up I could go no further than the Clone program screen, so had to reverse the conections on the MB and carry on using the old HD. Where am I going wrong

Have you tried just connecting the cloned drive, the poor computer might be getting confused as to where to start. Treat yourself to a copy Acronis true image it has a clone option and it works a treat, I have the three computer option of Acronis ,i do my desktop/laptop and a friends laptop.

Look in the Bios boot options and ensure that your new hard drive is selected ahead of the old one.
