putting a laptop to sleep

Hi all, Hope your having a great Sunday, a quick question is their a way of putting windows 7 to sleep via task scheduler the reason I as is were looking at options of running a display for our church I know how to turn the system on from slap just need to know if you can put it to sleep many thanks
