Would Office 2007 work on Windows 8?

I have a 3 licence Office 2007 currently in use on my desktop only and having bought a new Dell laptop would like to ask if I could install this on my laptop also - would it run okay or would it cause major problems trying to update?

Can't comment on the licences ,but I'm running office 2007 on a laptop running W8 No problems with the install or updating .
