Hi,

I'm wanting to get a new laptop & I don't want it to have Win 8. Tried it, hated it.

How much longer will Win 7 be avaialble on new laptops? I want to assess whether to buy now, or wait for New Year deals.

Cheers

"How much longer will Win 7 be available on new laptops?"

Probably until existing stocks in shops are exhausted. If they are discounted to clear them out for incoming Windows 8 stock, they won't be available for very long.

Thats what I think, so maybe I should get it now.

To be honest I don't think Windows 7 will be going anywhere for a while!
