Is the £14.99 download linked to a specific machine?

I bought a Win7 machine in July, so am eligible for the special offer upgrade. However, I also have an XP Pro machine which, according to the Win7 Upgrade Advisor would be able to be upgraded to Win7. If I were to download the discounted version of Win8 from MSoft, would it be installable on the XP machine, or would it be locked to the Win7 machine?

You can install the upgrade version on any machine you like, as long as it's only one machine, and there's an upgradeable version of Windows already installed.

Thanks for that. BTW sorry about the use of pound sign. Couldn't see a link to edit post after uploading (also, can't find option to mark query resolved).
