This give a lot of information.But still does not answer the question Does it have the classic start menu, ir is this now gone

After a lot of problems loggin on can now update the information is that Win 8 will be realeased on 26 October both for sale and on new PCs

Microsoft have made available a free 90 day trial of win 8 the link has the full details. This cannot be deleated so I would advise only useing on a spare drive or partion
