Libraries

I am told that they are only Shortcuts ~ However, to my mind, all they do is confuse the issue.

I have a perfectly adequate filing system, built up over 15+ years of computer use, that allows me to find almost any file on my Hard Drive in a matter of seconds, without even having to know it's name.

So ~ How can I remove the Libraries?

Just deleting them does not work, they're pernicious.
