Start photograph slide show in middle. How?

Windows 7 "Slide Show" always starts from the first photo. XP started from any photo selected. I want to be able to start from any photo. It is essential when sorting photos into separate files. PLease help

Microsoft Answers

"You can select and open the picture you want to start the slide show from and press the key F11. It will start the slide show from the picture you have opened.

Also refer to the below mentioned links to check for changing settings for slide show" ...(cont on the link I gave at top)
