Is anyone using Acronis True Image v. 10 with Windows 7? I have used TI 10 for a long time with XP computers and found it satisfactory. However I read postings that suggets TI may not work with Windows 7.

Has anyone used Easus to do a full restore on W7 64bit? And if you have - how does it compare with Acronis TI?

I have used, at the weekend,EasusToDo, to copy my C drive from one SSD to another larger SSD. It went extremely smoothly without any problems. I do not used Acronis as it has become far to bloated with functions I neither wanted nor needed.I have never used Windows 7 back up as I am not particularly confident in Microsoft's ability to produce certain types of software. They never seem to work quite as smoothly or easily as others.

I find this most worrying. Just bought Home 11 to do Windows 7 OS backup but I think I will also do my option 2 - copy partition to external HHD - )(using Acronis Disk Director 11 Home of course - oops)

Just had a response from Acronis who of couser state that my Version 10 is not compatible with W7 64bit. They recommend 2010 version onwards but will only offer support for 2012. They do offer an upgrade with is £14.95 (1 PC) but they have gone to this rip-off license system either 1 PC or 3. So if one changes the PC or buys an extra one, they want more money!
