7 and windows defender

Hi all,

I'm having an wee trouble with windows defender.

Running windows 7 with; MS security essentials; windows firewall, and malwarebyte.

Windows defender is supposed to open up when switching on the puter, and run in the background.

But mine don't! I have to manually start it, which is an irritant.

Any answers?

Thanks. T

Windows defender has been replaced by Microsoft 'Windows Security Essentials'. Dowload it from Microsoft site and forget about windows defender.

it is ms security essentials that disables windows defender,i didn't know that it wouldn't let you start defender automatically if you wanted it to though :o(
