Hi,

I have an upgrade of Win7 on my sony laptop (part of the sony upgrade programme).

The laptop suffers the bsod and reboots whenever it tries to sleep / hibernate.

Anyone else been suffering from this?

Cheers.

I read recently on another forum that windows 7 has been having problems with Hibernate . some were complaining about windows 7 giving BSOD when coming out of hibernation (sleep) when (AUTO HIDE THE TASKBAR) was enabled ,If I were you unless you need the pc to Hibernate for some reason .set the sleep settings to (never) .

You need to change the Power Options in Control Panel

Control Panel – Power Options – Click “Change when the Computer Sleeps”

Also Click – “Change Advanced Power Setting”
