Start up programs

I have just got a new laptop with 7 and I cannot find out how to stop programs loading at start up. For instance I have downloaded Windows love mail but do not use MSM messenger. I would like to stop that and others at start up. Could someone put me right

windows love mail?sounds interesting :o) click start and type msconfig and hit enter,go to start up and disable what you don't need starting
