Installing Vista Problems

I recently uninstalled Vista in order to try Windows 7,no problems there Windows 7 installed,I then on at least 5 occaisions tried to install Vista back on my PC,but everytime i get the same box appearing stating that it there are no Drivers.I then replaced my Hardrive with a new one and still get the same Boxed message,My son has Vista so I put his Hardrive in my PC and still get the same boxed message,I then put the Hardrive back into my Sons PC and It works fine,when I put Windows 7 on my PC that Installs Fine,No problems,Please can you help.Thank you

You have got the dvd drive as your first boot devise i assume?
