Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor!

Help! When running Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor well the installation anyway. I get an error saying Net Framework 2.0 not installed. I've tried click on the link but it brings up a blank page. I've tried installing it from the Microsoft Website to. I currently don't have any Net Framework Installed. I really need help as I am thinking about taking the plunge. Any advice will be app.
