When Iclick on a website email link (mailto: . . .) Vista tells me the email client has not been configured. BUT I use webmail. How do I get it to open my webmail srvice to send an email?

I've wondered that too.
If you hover the cursor over the email link box the email address should appear at the bottom of the screen, so you can make a note a do it that way :) It's so rare I find that it doesn't bother me.

That's not the answer is it. You have your default programs listed in the start menu but your webmail won't be there probably.

Can it be done ?

As far as I am aware it cannot do this. When you click on a website e-mail link you are opening an html hyperlink to your e-mail client (Windows Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) what it does not do is find the URL for your webmail and how would it know which one it is?
Webmail isn't a program. It is accessed through your browser which is the program.
