Now we are able to buy W7 as an upgrade I would appreciate opinions as regarding the better choice, A clean install of W7, or an upgrade on top of Vista?

Price-wise there is little difference 'twixt the two, the upgrade being a few pounds more expensive.

Lot of thanks.

when mine arrives I will do a clean install as its quicker and less prone to software glitches with software and drivers already in use.

I agree a clean install will always be the best option.
