About 4 weeks ago, I downloaded and have been using Windows 7 on my spare computer, (not this one ).
This morning a notice at the bottom of the screen says,
“This copy of windows is not genuine”.
I have still got the activation key, I got when I downloaded,
How do I bring up the activation window, so I can type in the key again.

This may have happened because I took out the windows 7 hard disk,
Put in my XP hard disk , and after use , put windows 7 hard disk in again

Right Click the My Computer Icon if its on your Desktop and select Properties.

At the bottom hit "Change Product Key".

Ozy: I followed Beta's instructions and could not find the Product Key option, but I did find it by opening up the "Computer" window and just below the "Tools" tab click on "System Properties" and you should find the option right at the bottom of the screen in the centre.
