I have just been reading that Windows 7 will be capable of Blu-ray playback

Has anyone found this capability in W7RC-and if so where can it be identified?

If anyone is interested MS position is that W7 will not have the codecs to support Bluray Playback but W7 will allow users to write to Blu-ray discs. Pity, as it might have provided some competition for current software providers

Indeed a pity. I've got PowerDVD installed on the W7 media center for that very reason. It's a pain to be honest and surely no reason for it?? Or is there?
