finding movie files

It's my own fault, I should be better at filing.
How do I find missing movie files in Vista please when I cannot remember the name or the format.

you could type a . in the search box then click search and happy hunting :o)

By default they go in c:\users\username\videos

You could try searching the most popular types -.mpg and .dvx
