How can I identify Vista 32bit or 64bit versions

Trying to find which are the correct downloads but I have tot choose if I have Vista Premium 32bit or Premium 64bit. is it in code somewhere ?

Clearly states 32 bit in their !

The Laptop is Vista Premium and has 4GB Memory, I thought when 4Gb mem is fitted you have to have a 64bit version confused why its showing as 4Gb and not 3Gb because of the 32bit restriction

i'm pretty sure it was changed with sp1 but someone else will know for sure.
