copying music files from pc to usb

I want to update my car music usb drive every couple of weeks from my PC music folder. When I try to copy and paste it says not enough room on USB, I cant get it to ignore duplicated files and only copy new files any ideas. Thanks Ed

Instead of copying and pasting have you tried dragging and dropping. That way I usually get a windows box asking if I want to replace or ignore the duplicated files.

update, it works on single tracks or a few together but not the whole folder prob is I forget which are the new tracks.

I suppose you could copy contents of PC music folder to a new folder on your pc and then copy the contents of usb to the same folder, then your pc should tell you of an existing file with same name during it's copying process.
