Disable Metro Welcome Screen in Windows 8

How to Disable Metro Welcome Screen in Windows 8 ? Is it possible to Skip Windows 8 Start Screen & Go Directly To Desktop On System Startup ? I want disable Welcome screen in Windows 8 (bypass the Windows 8 Start screen). Anyone has got ideas on this ?

Hi there a couple of ways, Put the desktop tile as the 1st tile top left hand side of start screen.
Install something like classic shell or start8
or why not follow some of the tutorials here and actually use the start screen. you can add tiles for "My Computer", "My Documents" in fact almost anything.

...perhaps because new PCs come with it pre-installed?
