Windows 8 file search term

Hi In windows 8 to find programs I use Win button + F to search for program. The problem is that after I search for the program name it has kept it as history under the search box so that every time I press Win button + F these three things comes up

device manager notepad.exe notepad

weirdly enough it not recording other program. I tried typing in paint but it does not keep it as history. Anybody know why? Many thanks :)

Open the charms bar, search, Change PC settings, under search, on the left, you get the options to delete etc.
