This is a pure guess on my part, what happens if you right click and hold it clicked while sweeping the mouse left or right or up and down?

Hi there yes there are a few options for touch mice and touch pads for use with Windows 8
I use the Logitech T650 touchpad which uses all the Win8 gestures http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/touchpad-t650?crid=1153
I now only use the touchpad on my main pc haven't need to use a mouse since getting this as an xmas present for myself. can thoroughly recommend the T650 TouchPad
Logitech also have touch gesture mice http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/touch-mouse-t620?crid=7 http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/zone-touch-mouse-t400?crid=7
Microsoft also have their own touch enable mice http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-gb http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-gb/mice
