Win 8 prints only half pages

I have a Dell Inspiron 1520. I have recently installed Win 8. Since then my printer only prints about half a page when a windows caption says Cannot Print ... I tried the Lexmark driver and the Win 8 driver with no success. I have tried it with an Epson printer/driver and its the same. Both printers print more when draft is selected. The laptop and printers are wireless using a BT Home Hub Infinity. My Win 7 netbook prints ok wireless. With the laptop connected by ethernet cable the the Hub the problem is still there. The spooler is clear. The problem seems to be related to file size. Can anybody help please?
