Desktop dessappear after only 15 or 20 seconds of inactivity

I just upgraded to W8 2 weeks ago and this is happening. the desktop gets replaced by some photos I have in a folder. Before there was some options in Control panel but know that Microsoft decided to make changes for the worse I can't get it right. Any ideas ?. yhanks

Try right clicking the desktop, select Personalise, select screen saver and in the dropdown menu select none. Apply, OK.

Thanks dave. It looks it make it. There was an option there that said ~photos~ which I changed.
