I've been using PC Advisor for decades now, even a subscriber at issue 1. In the magazine, it's always going on about safety online. Yet on their own website, the you might like bit at the bottom, is "college student bares all", and at the top of the page there is a dating site for what looks like budist monks. PC Advisor is slipping into disrepute. Just like MSN is now porn heavy headlines one after another. Malware is everywhere so why bother with anti spyware, key loggers ect, when the sex industry can advertise to you even here?

If this trend continues, I will be shifting to Linux or unix. Hell I might even go back to dos 6.1. My work matters to me. Ever since Netscape every page on the internet has just increased in flesh, not information like the old bulletin board days.

Will the next Windows be called Windows 9? Or will it be just called brain washing 9 Or will HTML5 be renamed as PORNTUBE 5?

So to answer your question again Windows, with its current user base, is dead in the water. You do know some country's including the worlds largest China have banned it don't you. The Internet really gives the impression that westerners are just sex objects now, on every page. That or criminal. Good luck getting somewhere in life in that environment.

Does windows 8 media Center have a tile just for this demographic or is that a separate purchase.

denso50 , I think installing another software to get a start icon on the desktop (getting there initially via the start app anyway) defeats the object and just complicates things and slows the OS as the app... err software needs to load. I've only been using Windows since 2003 but have taken to 8 as it's quite simple to navigate. Easier than having a start button and another small window opening on the left in the same page. For a day or two it took to learn what I could do with the mouse, I find that Windows 8 is an improvement over 7. Faster and simply a better system of getting information to you. I had my doubts in the beginning, that WMP wouldn't play DVDs and Windows Media Centre wasn't available (free up to 13th Jan I believe) but those are minor niggles. WMC I have installed anyway. Use the OS as intended and its excellent in my humble opinion.
