Onlky one DVD drive recognised

I have installed windows 8 pro on my system which dual boots with windows 7. I have one HDD fitted that is fine. I also have two DVD drives fitted but only one seems to show up in my computer.

Both drives can be seen in BIOS and both show up in my computer within windows 7.

Any help appeciated

Hi pie eater, same thing happened to me, in the end I went into device manager and uninstalled both dvd drives rebooted and all was ok again. Hope this helps, worked for me.

Cheers simonsup, did exactly what you said and, lo and behold, all is fine. A bit weird but it now all works. Thanks again.
