good day.
Can someone please advise me on a possible problem.
I have just installed 2x8gb memory on my new Lenovo laptop running windows 8. After install I checked to see if it had installed correctly, It says 8gb installed. I am new to installing memory myself, and am not sure if this is correct, I inserted the memory into the relative slots X2 but only mentions a single memory stick. Is this normal and I have nothing to worry about or do I need to go back in and recheck. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Check your laptop's spec to see if the motherboard will support 16GB ram.

Thanks for the reply. Crucial scan gives me 32gb max over 2 slots.
I have gone back into the laptop memory bay and re-seated the memory. Properties now say 16gb. I do thank you for your advice it was appreciated.
