Hewlett Packard Computers and W8

I have a HP All-in-One Touchscreen Desktop Computer, no complaints, it is great. I have been surprised though to read a message from HP in relation to their computers and the possibility of upgrading to W8

"In respect of HP Computers purchased prior to 1st October 2011 we would advise we have not tested the PCs or developed W8 upgrade instructions or drivers" "UPGRADING SUCH SYSTEMS MAY BE DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE"

So, no longer have to wonder whether to upgrade, the above message is clear enough.
