I have a IIyama Prolite T1730S model no.PLT1700 touchscreen monitor which i was using with Vista, now i have upgraded to Win8 i can`t get it to work, i realise it is getting on a bit, what are the chances of getting a driver, i guess that is the reason..................

Wouldn`t you just believe it, found a driver, eGalax touch exe for Win7, works a treat :-)
