Windows 8 compatibility

It was my intention to install win 8 this weekend but the compatibility report from MS has flagged up the following on my 4 month old desktop.

Secure Boot isn't compatible with your PC

Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver Intel Corporation, Version 1.0.1.209 Not compatible

Any help or suggestions please?

I found the same with 9 hardware problems being listed, after months of being led to believe that any PC that ran XP, VISTA, or W7 would run W8, my not so old PC is too antique for W8!

So I'll just have to wait until the price of a 12" W8 touch tablet becomes affordable, next spring I hope.

Just updated an old Compaq laptop. Just need to find video driver. Upgraded over a Win 7 trial installation (no key) and ok. Have to go to work now but will play with it later on.
