Windows 8 Any advantage to gamers ?

As I use my PC mainly for gaming , is there any point in upgrading to windows 8 ? I have z77 sabertooth , i3770k clocked to 4.5 , EVGA GTX 680 sc , 240 Gb vertex 3, barracuda 1Tb , 16Gb ( 2x8 ) vengeance ram , corsair H100 liquid cooling Bigfoot killer network , and soundblaster recon 3

If anything I think it will be better alongside the Xbox features you will be able to purchase independent game apps as well as normal PC games.

Windows 8 integrates with Xbox alongside the traditional PC games. I personally don’t see how it’s worse? Valve will of course be concerned because the new Microsoft store will be in direct competition with Steam.
