Wireless not working

Laptop is not picking up any wireless connections. Had a look around and believe it could be to do with the wlan auto config being "stopped" when it should be "running". If this is the case, any ideas as to how to fix this?? Thanks

further to this.. in command prompt:

"netsh wlan show profile" produces:

"The Wireless AutoConfig Service (wlansvc) is not running.

Could it be a problem with the drivers?

I think that you may have to download the drivers for your wireless cards. If you have another PC then download the drivers and put them onto your memory stick and try to install it from there. Let me know how that goes.

Go into services.WLAN auto config.Double click it And you can set it to automatic. Then press the start button in the same box or top left.

You should have posted this in the Helproom and you would have had a better response.

If you cant get it fixed here close the thread and open a new one in the Helproom.
