upgrade a video card

I have a gateway sx2840-01. I need a little more graphics power. It is a slimline low profile set up. I have found a number of cards that would take care of my graphics needs but all seem to require a much larger power supply. Really having a tough time getting advice on upgrading the power.
Am I just out of luck?
How important is it to have more power? I have 200w; most upgrade video cards require 350w- 600w. Can I get away with what I have? If not, what are the options?

Very if you need to upgrade your graphics card. You would need to get the dimensions of your PSU and then try and find a better powered PSU, though I fear this might be difficult.
A couple of cards that should be OK.
A Radeon HD5450 1GB GPU(20w ,35w w/full load).
The Sapphire HD 5570,power consumption is less than 45 watts under full load.
