Win 7 System restore problems.

I have a Dell XPS studio about 4 years old with Win 7. I needed to do a system restore, which I have used before. When I start restore it just hangs at windows is restoring files & restore is initialising. I did have a problem with Antivirus Security Pro about 3 days ago that has now been dealt with. I have tried safe mode with no success. Does any one have ideas as where to go now.

Hey Mike, I have a solution for you. Go for Faronics Deep Freeze. A kernel level reboot to restore software. Just a restart will solve your all problems every time. I'm facing same issue with Windows restore utility, after spending too much time failed to restore my system. So finally I have reinstalled XP and added Deep Freeze. It helping me a lot. Hope it will help you too.
