User Profile Service failed to logon

Hi folks

I turned on my laptop this morning and, on trying to logon I get the following message: 'User Profile Service failed to logon. User Profile cannot be loaded.' There's no other information, and it is not a password problem. I've switched off and on again, and tried three times, but with the same result.

Can anyone help please?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium.

Have a look at this and scroll to the bottom, it should help resolve your problem. As an alternative option you could try a System Restore.
