Transfer from Nexus 7 to 7.2

I want to transfer files and apps etc from nexus 7 to new nexus 7.2. however my Windows 7 64bit on the main computer does not recognise the new nexus at all. I downloaded nexus media importer on both the nexus tablets and connected the two nexus machines again no recognition. as I would like to transfer films books,and music from 7 to 7.2 can you help at all. Thanks Gordon Richards
