Internet Explorer 10 Download

I recently mistakenly clicked to download IE10 for my PC running W7 , 64 bit. The download did not work, which was fine, but now each time I boot up it automatically attempts to download IE10 and each time fails. As I do not want IE10 how can I stop it trying.

Manually run Windows Updates and when IE10 appears double click it and a box should open underneath if you tick the box it will not show the update again.

Apart from that if it does not work go to services and scroll down to windows updates and disable it and stop it from running.

Jock1e - are you suggesting that WRS disables Windows Updates in Services?
