My HP desktop is 1 year old.All of a sudden I have about 10 .LNK file extensions that I never had before. Now I can't open these files. My windows live mail is a .LNK file so i am unable to get e-mails.I have tried the system restore but it does not revert back. Can anyone tell me a simple way to restore my original file extensions and to get rid of the .LNK extensions. If you can please explain it in the simplest terms as I am a complete novice on these matters. Thank you and look forward to finding a solution.
