gmail not sending or receiving

My ISP is Orange FR and until a recent shut down of internet activity whilst Orange were performing repairs to the system, gmail worked well in Windows Live Mail.

Now I can't get it to send or receive emails in Live Mail, please can anyone help? My OS is windows 7 and I have 4 accounts in my windows live mail set up, one being the main ISP of Orange.

This is really frustrating so appreciate any advice to help resolve the problem.

Microsoft Outlook would not work for me today using Windows live mail but notice it is working now.

So maybe a WLM problem.

Do I need to configure something in gmail or windows live mail, I don't understand why things have suddenly changed as it was all working well before

Not sure daisy I have not used G-mail before so don't know the settings.

Try signing in here with your username and password and see if that works.

For some reason it will not open properly.Click the sign in button top right.

You should be able to sign in from there and check your e-mails.

Maybe someone will be able to put you right with the Windows Live mail account later.

You would have been better posting this in the Helproom and you would have got a better response from members who use Orange.
