Can you rightclick on Adobe P E desktop icon and choose 'Properties' that will tell you where the target file is. (or do same with shortcut in Programs where you normally open the program) (not got my W7 running at mo' I'm installing it to a bigger hdd so can't check that rightclick for you, but that's how it's done in XP)

Try program files in File (Windows) Explorer.

Many thanks for all your replies. I followed the advice from 'lotvic' and found the path to be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 9\Adobe Premiere Elements 9.exe" Now I'm going to see if the AddWith utility works (http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/126340-open-add-program.html) which also applies to windows 7 Thanks again, Derek
