kaspersky 2013

i am runnning kaspersky 2013 on my laptop which has windows 7 on it. sometimes when i start my pc the kaspersky gadget flashs up red, i looked in the report in kaspersky and it said it was not running. any clues

Do you have any other anti-malware, anti-virus running?

Can only suggest uninstall and reinstall.

I run Kaspersky 2013 without any snags.

As per Woolwell - make sure you do not have any other anti-virus installed!

i did have malwarebytes but i remove that. i will uninstsall and reinstall 2013 will let you know how i get on

It is OK and recommended to have MalwareBytes as well as your Anti-virus.

MalwareBytes is not anti-virus!
